Senior Negotiator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Negotiator to join our client's independent estate agency based in Guildford. As a Senior Sales Negotiator, you will play a crucial role in managing sales and lettings transactions and building strong relationships with clients. Your exceptional negotiation skills, industry knowledge, and customer-centric approach will contribute to the success of our agency.

Responsibilities:


  1. Sales and Lettings Management:

    • Manage the entire sales and lettings process, from property listings to successful completions.

    • Conduct property valuations, assess market conditions, and provide accurate pricing recommendations.

    • Create appealing property listings, including high-quality photographs, engaging descriptions, and detailed specifications.

    • Conduct viewings with potential buyers and tenants, providing expert advice and addressing any inquiries.

    • Negotiate offers, ensuring the best terms and conditions for both parties.

    • Facilitate property exchanges, coordinating with solicitors, surveyors, and other relevant parties.

  2. Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences.

    • Proactively seek out new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives.

    • Provide regular updates to clients, keeping them informed about market trends, property availability, and progress on their transactions.

    • Handle client objections and concerns with professionalism, finding effective solutions to ensure client satisfaction.

    • Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly, converting them into successful sales or lettings opportunities.

  3. Market Research and Analysis:

    • Stay up-to-date with local property market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations.

    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities and market gaps.

    • Monitor property prices, rental values, and demand-supply dynamics to offer accurate advice to clients.

    • Utilize market insights to develop targeted marketing strategies and effectively promote properties.

  4. Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with other team members, including agents, administrators, and support staff, to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

    • Share knowledge, best practices, and industry updates with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

    • Support junior negotiators and provide guidance when required.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in property sales and lettings within an estate agency environment.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of the Guildford property market, including current trends, local amenities, and community developments.


  • Proficiency in property management software and digital marketing platforms.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
